If you have a lane, you have a chance. The Chesaning Indians were fierce competitors as they swam against OE. OE had the home advantage of scoring in a 4 lane pool and a large team. These factors didn’t affect the Indians ability to give it their all. OE was able to take first in 8 of the 11 events, but Chesaning was able to show the depth of our small team by sweeping second, third and fourth place finishes in most events. Kaden Liebrock took first in the 50 yard freestyle and broke the school record (26.04). Karlie Lewis placed first in the 100 yard butterfly and broke her own school record with the time of 1:10.69. The 200 yard Freestyle Relay team of Chalco, Walker, Beckman and Liebrock took first with the fast time of 1:53.64. Levi Maier broke the men’s backstroke record with a new time of 1:18.09. Way to go Indians! Way to make waves!
