The scoreboard didn’t fall our way against New Lothrop, but I was incredibly proud of the way the girls competed for all four quarters. No matter the score, they continued to play hard, battle for each other, and give their best effort until the final whistle. More than anything, this game showed just how much this group has grown mentally throughout the season. They faced adversity, stayed together, and never let the scoreboard change the way they competed. That growth may not always show up in the final score, but it was on full display in this game. The girls are back on the road tomorrow at Durand, where we’ll have another opportunity against a team we’ve already faced this season. We’re excited for the chance to show how much we’ve grown, make adjustments from the first matchup, and compete for a different result this time around. 🧡🖤
