🏈 **FINAL | CHESANING 28 – BIRCH RUN 22** **KEEP. SWINGING.** The Chesaning Indians battled for four quarters and came away with a huge **28-22 victory over Birch Run!** Chesaning struck first and held a **7-0 lead after the first quarter**. The two teams traded punches throughout the first half, with Birch Run holding a **16-14 lead at halftime**. Birch Run came out of halftime and scored on the **first play of the third quarter with 11:46 remaining**, extending its lead to 22-14. **They would not score again.** From that point forward, the Chesaning defense slammed the door and the Indians just kept swinging. Trailing **22-14 in the fourth quarter**, Damian Obuchowski came up with a massive interception and **took it back for a touchdown**, cutting the deficit to 22-20. The two-point conversion was unsuccessful, leaving Chesaning down by two. Then came the final drive. Chesaning got the football back with approximately **4:00 remaining** and put together the drive it needed. The Indians marched down the field and **punched in the go-ahead touchdown** before converting the two-point attempt to take a **28-22 lead**.
