Chesaning 40, Byron 23 The girls picked up a 40-23 win over Byron in a very physical game! I was really proud of how well they made adjustments throughout the game and continued to focus on getting stops on the defensive end. They stayed composed, adjusted to what Byron was giving them, and continued to play together. The girls were also rebounding machines, especially on the offensive end! They battled hard on the boards, created extra possessions, and continued to give themselves second-chance opportunities. Their effort and willingness to fight for the ball made a huge difference throughout the game. Maddie Meyer – 11 points, 1 assist, 4 rebounds, 2 steals Anna Lee – 8 points, 1 rebound Evie Danek – 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals Bailey Neumeyer – 5 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals Olivia Schneider – 4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals Reese Davenport – 3 points, 2 assists, 7 rebounds, 3 steals Alexis Schneider – 2 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block Claire Lee – 1 point, 1 assist, 3 rebounds, 2 steals Luella Chludil – 3 rebounds, 2 steals Lyric Chludil – 3 rebounds Gwen Barckholtz – 2 rebounds Jackie Leckenby – 1 rebound, 5 steals The girls are back home next against Durand! It should be a great game and a good test for this group. We’re looking forward to the challenge! 🧡🖤
