Chesaning Union High School

The Women’s Varsity Cross-Country team got their 2026 season off to an amazing start at the Birch Run Fall Invitational meet. The Lady Indians finished 4th overall out of 19 competing teams, and placed 3rd in the Large School Division. Freshman runner Grace Jordan led the charge to the strong team finishing, taking 4th place overall. Grace's time of 19:09.1 is the fastest time for a Chesaning runner since 1988. Fellow freshman Abigail Jordan finished next for the team, taking 8th place with a time of 21:00. Ruby Gross (18th), Leah Theile (22nd), Alonna Neumann (29th), and Avery Hoerner (45th) all earned medals by placing in the top 50.
